Looking back to your wedding day last year, what were the most memorable, most touching or most surprising moments for you?
Our whole wedding day was special because we planned to celebrate only with our closest friends and family. We had time to talk to all our guests and enjoy our day stress-free. In retrospect, we made the right decision. We were very relaxed and were able to enjoy everything on that day. A special moment was certainly when my father and I walked down the aisle together and then he handed me over to my husband.

How do you think your marriage has changed the way you perceive your life and your work?
We always cherish spending time with each other, even more now that we are married. We can say that through marriage, we as two individuals have somehow become one. And now with our own experience of a wedding day, I can affirm even more to my clients and couples to do only what they want and what best suits their personalities. Then they just have to trust their chosen suppliers.

As a professional wedding planner for almost 15 years, what were the differences in planning your own wedding from planning a wedding for your clients?
It was very easy to plan our own wedding because we were able to agree on all aspects and we did not want to stress ourselves. Everything went very well, especially because I knew that I can rely on my suppliers. Therefore, I was very relaxed and knew that no matter what, the main essence of that day was to say YES to each other and that was the most important for us. Because we wanted to have a wonderful celebration, we discussed everything right from the start then we leaned back and trusted everyone.
What makes your Wedding Film unique?
We were - and still are very happy - with our wedding photos, which enable us to look back to that day. But to have the micro expressions and gestures in combination with the spoken words in a film is an especially beautiful memory and is the perfect complement to the photos. Especially because you can not remember many situations, statements, etc. These were all captured in film and we can relive the emotions again everytime we watch it.

What advice would you give to a friend who is having second thoughts about having a Wedding Film?
I've never been a big advocate of a wedding film over the many years as a wedding planner. But since my own wedding and the beautiful memories we have through film, I have changed my mind to the point that I now find this as a perfect match to the wedding photos. Especially in my case when my grandparents could not be there at the wedding, then we showed them the film and they were able to see what a great day we had.
It's simply much better with the wedding film than "just" with wedding photos!
