Honoring her Mother
A few months before her mother’s 50th birthday, the daughter contacted us with a vision: to create a film capturing her mother’s colorful, adventurous life across different continents. The daughter wrote the script herself, sharing stories about her mother’s journey as told by her grandmother, uncle, and the same nanny who cared for the mother as a child and later cared for her daughter. The narrative followed her mother’s life from childhood to friendships, marriage, and motherhood.
We traveled to the mother’s childhood home to conduct interviews and gathered photos from family albums, along with old tapes and DVDs provided by her best friend. The result was a concept film celebrating a life brimming with remarkable experiences and cherished connections.
Attention to Detail
On the night of the celebration, a Havana-themed birthday transformed the venue into the vibrant streets of Cuba. Event planner Jeannette Mang worked closely with the clients and suppliers to bring the theme to life in every detail. Surrounded by family, friends, and the music of world-renowned performers Nile Rodgers and Toni Braxton, the film became one of the highlights of the evening. It showcased a daughter honoring her mother’s five decades of an extraordinary life while looking ahead to the many adventures yet to come.
